A dragon give his heart only once, and no matter how many times he must fly away he will always return to the one who holds it.

A Dragons Heart

He left me alone, I severed the ties,
or so I thought,
He returned, offering me his heart once again,
I turned away, to hide from the risk of love.
He offered it again,
with a smile and fears I took it, knowing
he is my destiny, my everything.
So here I stand, Holding the heart of a dragon,

Have you ever wondered,
If destiny is not something
made of chance but of choice?
As for mine, I choose
my dark dragon.
One look into his ocean colored
eyes and I was drowning in
their depths once again.
one touch and all my walls
I had put up around my heart
crumbled into dust.
I hold his heart,
yet at the same time
he holds mine.
I have made my choice,
I choose love.

This Time

This time will be different
This time I will try
To remember all those little things
that make my love him.
This time will be honest
This time I wont lie
I'll do my best to be the person
I want most to be.
This time will be forever
This time I wont make him go
I'll hold his heart gently
and love him like I should.

I never believed that old saying about if you love something let it go, I truly thought it would never return, and in this I was wrong.
